Visiting Verona means taking a wonderful tour while discovering an enchanted place, steeped in the fascination and mystery that characterizes some of the most interesting monuments of Italy, known worldwide.

There are very diverse vestiges indicating that this city has been dominated, first of all, by the Romans, a presence that has left a legacy of prominent monuments - just think of the famous Arena di Verona, a structure that has perfectly conserved its beauty.

Site of bloody tournaments and battles in ancient times, today the Arena di Verona is considered as a great temple of international opera music with perfect natural acoustics, where the best artists of the world can be admired.

The Roman Verona is distinguished by the powerful Mura di Gallieno, constructed to defend the city from the barbarians, by the Piazza delle Erbe, an ancient Roman forum, heart of the city’s social and political life, or by the Ponte Pietra that connected to the fortified city on the other bank of the river, where the splendid Teatro Romano used to stand, of which very little remains today.

Verona served as setting of the unfortunate love story of a young couple that has touched many people: Romeo and Juliet. From Shakespeare's masterpiece this city offers the famous Juliet’s balcony (Balcone di Giulietta), overlooking a romantic courtyard, and further away Romeo’s house (Casa di Romeo).

In addition, inside the majestic Saint Francis Cloister (Chiostro di San Francesco), Juliet’s Tomb (Tomba di Giulietta) has been preserved.

From the period of Scaligera domination, in Verona emerged the Arche Scagliere, majestic sepulchral vestige of a grand reign, and the Old Castle (Castelvecchio), an imposing stronghold inside the city.

The visit to Verona can not leave aside the Basilica di San Zeno and that of Santa Maria in Organo, unique examples of the religious faith that the city has always maintained.
